Schlumbergerella floresiana (Schlumberger, 1896)

Schlumbergerella floresiana description : large globular test with projecting spines, coarsely perforated and Brownish colour.

The single-celled foraminifera are a taxon of amoebae from the group of Rhizaria.

It includes some 10,000 recent and fossil 40,000 known species and thus represents by far the largest group of Rhizaria .

Up to about fifty species colonize the freshwater Foraminifera all marine habitats, from the coast to the deep sea, mostly on the seabed (benthic), a small part of the Globigerinida, is one of the plankton.

The majority of foraminifera characterized by a housing.
