Tis nudibranch is creamy-white.The mantle border is gold and the outer edge to the gills and to the tip of the rhinophore clubs are red.
Similar to Thorunna furtiva (the outer edge is brownish yellow , gills and rhinophores are coloured with brownish yellow).
The gills wave rhythmically as the animal is crawling along.
This species feeds on sponges.
