Diazona formosa Monniot F. & Monniot C., 1996

Colonies of this sea squirt can reach up to 45 cm, while the individual zooid grows to 2 cm.
The transparent zooid has fine white markings and always has 6 white dots on the siphon.
These sea squirts develop in areas of reefs protected from currents near corals in crevices and caves.

Diazona formosa feeds on plankton as a filter feeder.
