Bulla quoyii Gray, 1843

Bulla quoyii is a sea slug belonging to the family of Bullidae, the bubble snails or bubble shells. Bubble snails are mostly nocturnal and can be found on shallow, sandy coasts. Bulla snails are herbivores which feed on green algae and detritus. They bury themselves in mud when the tide is out.

The Australian Bubble snail have a thin, yellowish-brown shell. The color of the periostracum varies from greenish to orange. This bubble snail is an detritus feeder.
