Coronephthya macrospiculata is a few known soft coral, of which the following information comes from the first description.
The first coral examined was from a water depth of, 219.46 - 274.32 fathom (~ 401 - 502 meters) and had a creamy white coloration with gray polyps.

Coronephthya macrospiculata does not come into the specialized trade according to our estimation, therefore no keeping reports should be expected.
