Husbandry

Inhabits clear inner and outer reef habitats from exposed algae reef flats to deep along drop-offs. Occur in seaward reefs below the surge zone. Feed on crabs, bivalves, gastropods, algae, echinoids, tunicates, worms, eggs, and detritus.
