Chaetomorpha is a genus of green algae in the family Cladophoraceae.

Chaetomorpha antennina: Thallus filamentous, forming dense brush-like tufts, 1.2-4(-12) cm long,color dark green to bluishgreen.

Bei mir hat sich diese Chaetomorpha ebenfalls aus dem Lebendgestein gebildet. Lässt sich mit einer Pinzette recht leicht rückstandlos entfernen.
Jedoch können sich Bruchstücke in der Dekoration verfangen und neu austreiben. Kann somit recht schnell zur Plage werden.
Unter starken HQI Licht wächst sie in den oberen Wasserregionen eng Spiralförmig empor.
Selbst bei schwachen Licht (T5 8W 7000k im TB) sehr ausdauernd.
Die Spitzen werden von der Percnon gibbesi angefressen.
Um zu starke Ausbreitung zu vermeiden, regelmässig abzupfen und Bruchstücke absammeln.
