Info

Always in association with the sea urchins Diadema spp., Echinothrix diadema, Astropyga radiata. It lives on or amongst the spines, never on the body. Compressed and elongated shrimp, fit for living among the urchin's spines. Black or purple colour with 3 longitudinal white lines. 3.5 cm.
Similar to Periclimenes cf. rectirostris
