Okenia nodosa (Montagu, 1808)

The body is translucent white with small tubercles (specks of white and/or yellow pigment). The lamellate rhinophores are yellowish.

According Juveniles feed on bryozoans (Alcyonidium diaphanum) and adults feed on ascidians (Diplosoma listerianum and Dendrodoa grossularia).

Okenia nodosa has been found at depths to 120 m.

Similar to Pelagella castanea.
