Widespread from the British Isles to the Mediterranean.

Aglaophenia tubulifera contains zooxanthelles and catches zooplancton.

Typically 5-7 cm in height.

Colour: Light yellow-brown feathers in clusters

The seaslug Doto lemchei feeds exclusively on this hydroid.
