Aldisa sanguinea (J. G. Cooper, 1863)
This red nudibranch have one or two dark spots in the dorsal midline which look like the oscula of sponges.
The Blood-Spot Dorid feeds on the orange sponges Ophlitaspongia pennata and Hymendesmia brepha.The egg ribbon laid on a spiral on the sponge is orange and well camouflaged.
Aldisa sanguinea can be found to about 10 m.
