Tenellia lugubris (Bergh, 1870)

Tenellia lugubris have a widespread throughout the tropical Indo-West Pacific. This nudibranch feeds on the polyps of Porites corals in shallow water.The cerata tips are white and swollen with secretion cells. These cells produce a sticky ceratal secretions.

Phestilla is able to break off their cerata when disturbed.
