Hermania orca Gosliner, 1988

Hermania orca is one of the smallest species Genus Philine.The body is translucent white in colour. Hermania orca have a have an internal shell such as all headshield slugs . The characteristic colour pattern of black patches on a white background is similar to the colours of the Orca whale and refers for the name "orca".

This sea slug has a wide distribution throughout the Indo-Pacific.

Hermania orca ist nocturnal and prey carnivores.
