Spinoaglaja orientalis (Baba, 1949)

Spinoaglaja belong to the family Aglajidae, commonly known as Headshield slugs.The family Aglajidae includes elongate sea snails with a small internal shell. Most of them are nocturnal.

The body colour can be brown, dark brown to black with three irregular transverse orange bands, which are surrounded by a diffuse white margin.

This species was found on seaweed covered rock, under stones and on sandy bottom.

Headshild slugs often predatory slugs,feeds on polychaete worms, flatworms and other opisthobranchs.
