Info

Kaloplocamus peludo Vallès & Gosliner, 2006

The type locality for Kaloplocamus peludo is Batangas, Luzon Island, Philippines.

Kaloplocamus peludo is translucent brownish to orange with pattern of opaque white lines and patches, and scattered irregularly shaped brown and similar size spots.

In some animals there is an irregular white line from the rhinophoes to the gills. The line splits and after the gills form a ring around the gills.
In some specimens the median line is not clear.

Smaller conical papillae with filaments give the body and the papillae a hairy appearance (peludo = hairy in Spanish).

Kaloplocamus peludo feeds exclusively on bryozoans.
