Didemnum obscurum Monniot, 1969

Didemnum obscurum is a colonial ascidian, that forms a thin crust ( 1-2 cm thick, up to 50cm across)over rocks or other substrate. The colour is bright orange.

The Orange lattice ascidian is a filterfeeder.Its can be found in shallow reefs (5-30m depht).
