Gibbonsia montereyensis Hubbs, 1927

Gibbonsia montereyensis is commonly known as The Crevice kelpfish and can be found along the Pacific coast of North America from British Columbia, Canada, to Baja California, Mexico. The Crevice kelpfish prefers areas close to the shore amongst algae. This species can reach a maximum length of 11 cm. Gibbonsia montereyensis feeds primarily on polychaete worm.
