Xenocarcinus depressus Miers, 1874

Xenocarcinus depressus is a crab species from the Epialtidae family. This crab is commonly found on the fronds of gorgonians and colourwise very well adapted. This is a cryptic species.

Carapace length of the male 13.5 mm, breadth 5.4 mm; of the female, length 14.2 mm, breadth 6.1 mm.
