Description: Colonies are composed of stout, upright, flattened branches. Colonies are often over one metre across and may form large single species stands. Branches may be widely separated or may be compact, especially where currents are strong. Verrucae are uniform in shape and spacing.
Similar Species: Pocillopora woodjonesi. See also P. zelli.
