Trimma hamartium

Trimma hamartium wird umgangssprachlich oft als Zwerg-Grundel bezeichnet. Die Haltung der Zwerg-Grundel ist nicht schwer, sie gelten als wenig Krankheitsanfällig und nehmen schnell Ersatzfutter an, das aber der kleinen Grundel mit nur 2,5 cm Endgröße angepaßt sein muss. Es wird ein Aquarium von mindestens 100 Liter empfohlen. Giftigkeit: Nicht giftig.

Found in areas with heavy cover of hard corals (Acropora, Pocillopora, Millepora, plate corals, lettuce corals star and cactus corals), variety of sponges, sea whips, ascidians, alcyonarians, tunicates, hydoids (in caves), soft corals, gorgonians, brown encrusting algae; and also on steep reef slopes and almost vertical walls with several large caves with sand/rubble floors, undercuts and small platforms
