Description: Colonies have irregular to submassive bases and irregular branches and may form thickets over 3 metres across. Axial corallites are small. Radial corallites are aligned along branches, and are appressed with thick lips and wide openings.
Similar Species: Acropora striata and A. pruinosa. See also A. parahemprichii.
