Husbandry

Ecsenius polystictus ist ein um die Insel Sumatra,genauer um die Mentawai-Inseln, in der Andamanensee, endemisch vorkommender kleiner Schleimfisch.
Leider können wir über den kleinen Kerl sogut wie nichts berichten, da mehr Lücken als Wissen über den Schleimfisch bekannt ist.

Obwohl Schleimfische aus der Region für den Fachhandel gesammelt werden, ist nicht davon auszugehen, dass Ecsenius polystictus jemals in ein Heimaquarium gelangt ist.
