Lysmata napoleoni appears to be most closely related to the widely distributed Lysmata seticaudata.
Shrimp size: Post-orbital carapace length (pocl) 5.8cm.
Etymology:
The species is named after Napoléon Bonaparte (1769-1821), probably the most famous inhabitant of St. Helena inhabitant of St. Helena, from his exile on the island in 1815 until his death in 1821
