A wrasse that is far less common in the trade than the better known Halichoeres marginatus or the yellow species Halichoeres leucoxanthus or Halichoeres crysurus.
Is a really nice little guy, which is similar to the other species from the attitude.
Little sensitive, and always on the lookout, so a permanent swimmer.
Buries itself in the sandy bottom at night.
Also feed on bristle worms and likes to prey on snails in the aquarium!

Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!
